journey of Khalidah

Jan 5th 2009:

Prof Fatah from Alexendria University reached Penang as a Visiting Professor to USM. I'm so delighted to meet him. High profile scholar I would describe him. He is expected to stay in Penang for 3 months which I believe that I should take this chance to learn from him. As a scientist and scholar he potray a tremendous personality. I do understand the reasons my supervisor, Prof Roshada trained and molded me in a hard way coz nothing come easy. As life never fair to us. We should be positive and greatful instead. Moreover, to have the right we have to fight for it.

Jan 8th to 10th:

Pumpkin Race at SMK Labu. This is volunteer job. No one force anyone to do any if they dun want to do so...All of these started last year while I'm still finishing my Masters thesis writing. Pumpkin Race 4 had pave a new path in my life. Watching faces of the future, left a humongous impact in me. I'm obligate to these faces  of the future, though in a very minor step.

This year, Pumpkin Race 5, had created its own drama...[students, mentors and me]. These 'precious gems' must be polished coz  in 'em there are talents, skills and gifts. As Kak Gee, Am and Abg Asri have faith in 'em, yeah...me tooo...there are faces that I'll post later to tell evry one bout their courages and talents.

I'm doing this seriously..and I hope that Allah will always assist me and ease me in doing so no matter where I'll be or when.....

Ah...one more thing, the school is rural area school, which most of high class and aristicrate people may not want to look at 'em even with an eye. But as I said...these gems gonna create and colour the future.
